Weddings at Potomac Point Winery
Choose from several venues around our grounds that create the atmosphere you would like to portray. Whether you prefer an intimate dinner reception for two or a reception for 250 guests- we can accommodate you.

 Grape Stomping "Vines to Vows" Package Includes:

Elegant Richland Ballroom with 250 person capacity
Sculpted 2200 sq. ft. patio overlooking the vineyard
Hand forged domed wedding gazebo adorned with vines and grapes
Bridal Salon with waiting area for Bridal party overlooking the Courtyard
Romantic Barrel Room for Rehearsal dinner
Banquet tables and chairs
Cake and Gift tables or barrel platforms
Children's activity room available upon request

Setting provided for the most remarkable wedding photography

Package Rates


Saturday Standard package: $6,5100.00
8 hours including 2 hour setup, 5 hour event time, 1 hour clean up.
Sunday and Friday rental: $5,880.00
Monday-Thursday: $4,620.00

Required Fees

Professional Cleaning fee for Vines to Vows Package: $400.00
Refundable Damage Deposit: $1,000.00
Security fee for any event over 80 people: $200.00
Smoking Fee: $250.00
Onsite Event Coordinator: $600.00




Optional Fees

Each additional hour over eight hour period: $550.00
Children's room with activities: 25.00 per hour
(Room limitation is 12)

Beer & Wine Only Facility

Premium Potomac Point wines, sparkling wine, & sparkling cider available for
purchase by the bottle, case or by the glass. A $2.00 per bottle corkage fee
applies.
Non-alcoholic beverages and beer offered by your caterer.
Kegs are not allowed. Beer bottles only.

Service Times Service Times

You choose the start and end time for your event within the eight hour
rental period. The eight hour rental includes a 2 hour set up, 5 hour event, 1 hour clean up.

Restrictions

-No Smoking is allowed inside our facility (designated area available)
No tape, tacks, glue or nails can be used when decorating
-No alcohol allowed other than what is provided by Potomac Point Winery
-No Fireworks are allowed on site
-No unprotected flames are permitted
-No rice; No confetti (Bird seed, bubbles and Rose petals are allowed outside only)


Reservations

To reserve your special day, we require that you sign a contract and submit
that with a deposit consisting of half of your rental fee plus the $1,000.00
refundable damage deposit. Your final payment is required four months prior to
your event. This will include your second half payment, professional cleaning
fee, event coordinator fee, smoking fee, along with our security fee (if applicable).
The Catering service fees are contracted separately through Le Grand Cru Catering.
Reservations are given on a first come first served basis.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Cashiers Checks, and Personal Checks


Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation by the Client, for whatever reason, Potomac
Point must be notified in writing or in person to sign a cancellation form. The
date this notice is received will be considered the cancellation date. In the
event of any and all cancellations, a $250.00 administration fee is applied and
the damage deposit of $1,000.00 will be forfeited. Further, if the cancellations
is within six months of the contracted date, for whatever reason, 50% of the
rental deposit will not be refunded. If the cancellation is less than 149 days
from the event day, 100% of the rental amount will not be refunded.
Damage Deposit Refund

Your damage deposit will be refunded within fourteen days after your event,
providing there are no damages. Any additional fees assessed, will be confirmed
with the Client and subtracted from deposit refund. The deposit will be refunded
in the same format as your payment received.

Loss or Damage

The Client agrees to hold the Winery harmless from any loss or damage to Winery
property caused by the Client and/or its guests/invitees. Loss or damage to any
and all items brought onto the winery premises by the Client and its
guests/invitees will be the sole responsibility of the Client. The Client agrees
to inform their guests and invitees of this policy.

 




Force Majeure

All outside functions must include an alternative inclement weather plan. If the
event cannot be held as scheduled due to acts of nature or to other causes
beyond the Winery's control, the event will be rescheduled to another date
acceptable to both the Client and the Winery, if possible. If it cannot be
rescheduled, the Client shall receive a refund of any deposits and prepayments
made with no further liability of the Winery to the Client.

Winery Policy

Respect of the integrity of the facilities and grounds are expected by all
patrons. By the terms of ABC regulations, no minors will be served alcohol nor
will patrons be allowed to become intoxicated. The Winery is responsible for
maintaining control over the function and accordingly, reserves the right to
take appropriate actions. Prices may change throughout the year; the only
guaranteed prices are those that have been validated with a signed contract.


OTHER WEDDING FACILITY RENTAL OPTIONS:

 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Richland Ballroom for your Reception

The Richland Ballroom is our elegantly appointed event wing. The room is lined
with French doors that open onto the 2500 square foot sculpted patio,
overlooking the bowl-shaped vineyard below. The ballroom is ideal for your
largest venue seating up to 250 people. Your needs can be met for additional
space and entertaining with the flow of people extending onto the patio which
holds an additional 100 people for a lovely wine and cheese hour. The Ballroom
is perfect for an elegant reception.

Full day rates for the ballroom consist of 8 hours including 2 hour setup time,
5 hour event time, and 1 hour cleanup time.
Half day rates for the ballroom consist of 4 hours including 1 hour setup time
and 1 hour cleanup time.

Full Day Rate $5,250.00
Half Day Rate $3,150.00 _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Ceremony Grounds
The Ceremony Grounds consist of a lush green area to walk through the
Vineyard up to a mesmerizing hand-forged gazebo surrounded by roses and azaleas.
Your entrance starts through our Coyote Wine Cave where you will be surrounded
by our vines overlooking the entire facility. Can hold up to 250.
