Since 1971, volunteers at MVLE has been “Creating Futures, One Person at a Time.” MVLE is a non-profit rehabilitation facility that seeks to assist disabled adults and is currently providing their services to over 600 individuals with disabilities. Located in both Springfield and Chantily Virginia, MVLE “enables adults with disabilities to achieve greater independence by providing life skills, job training and employment in center-based and community-based work settings.” One way that the MVLE gathers funds for their operation is by putting on fundraising events such as their Golf Tournaments. This year the MVLE donated all of their proceeds to the Working Warrior Nation, a well-known division of MVLE Inc. The Potomac Point family recognized this amazing cause by donating to the MVLE foundation in hopes that together, we can make a difference and raise disability awareness. Next year, we hope to see even more guests come out with their golf shoes tied and clubs at their side!
