For those of you who like to keep up with the latest and greatest, we’ve heard rumors of a few wedding trends that are going to be big for 2015! With summertime knocking on our doors and wedding season quickly getting underway, we thought we’d share some of the ones we thought were the most fun, and maybe you can take some of them into consideration as you plan your big day.
Wild West and Boho Chic
Carrying a theme through the details of your wedding day can be fun, and two themes that a number of couples seem to be gravitating toward include the rustic, ranch-inspired “Wild West,” and the breezy, colorful “Boho Chic,” reminiscent of a summertime music festival. Whether masculine and woodsy is your style, or you have a more eclectic taste and like the idea of perfectly mismatched bridesmaids dresses and hand-written invitations, we think both themes would look fabulous against our outdoor ceremony grounds, tucked away in the (now blooming) vineyard!
GoPro Wedding Photos
The GoPro camera is such a fun way to capture images from every angle imaginable, not to mention it’s waterproof, mountable on a number of different pieces of equipment, and darn near indestructible! Traditional wedding photos are, of course, a must for many brides, but why not ask your photographer if he or she has a GoPro they can use to capture some fun candid’s and action shots. We love the idea of mounting it on a “selfie stick” for some unique, spur of the moment group pictures!
Royal Color Palettes
While the coming spring and summer months typically lend themselves to pastels and brighter colors as far as wedding décor goes, it looks like 2015 is going to usher in an era of rich, deep jewel tones. For obvious reasons, we’re big fans of the deep red wine color that many brides seem to be choosing! Pairing it with gold or ivory as an accent color would be over the top gorgeous and romantic!
