Here at Potomac Point, we feel like every day should be a party no matter the reason, but today, we actually have a really exciting reason to celebrate! The 35th Annual San Francisco International Wine Competition was held between June 12th and 14th 2015 at the Hotel Nikko in Downtown San Francisco. Judges tasted over 4,900 wines from around the world over the course of the competition and awarded medals to the wines that stood out to them the most for a slew of different reasons. Well, we are thrilled to announce that Potomac Point Winery had three of our wines receive medals in the competition! Our Cabernet Franc 2013 was awarded a silver medal, and our Viognier 2014 and Vino Camino 2013 were awarded bronze! During the first week of July, the list of all 2015 award-winning wines will be listed on the San Francisco International Wine Competition’s website, and in September, we will be bringing home a few shiny medallions to put on display right here at The Point! This is a huge honor for us, as this competition is a massive one, and thousands of wines from all over the globe were entered. We are so excited to have received this recognition, and we hope it will allow the rest of the world to see what we have been working so hard to create for the past several years here at Potomac Point!
