We are so proud to announce that our very own Jonathan Little has been selected as the recipient for the Outstanding Food Service Employee Award from the Fredericksburg Regional Hospitality Council! Jonathan has been in the hospitality industry for over 9 years but Potomac Point has been lucky to have him for the past 4 years. Starting out as a server in 2011, Jonathan became our lead server and is now our Banquet Captain.
The Fredericksburg Regional Hospitality Council is a non-profit organization that focuses on maintaining an excellent experience for tourists in the Fredericksburg area. Each year they host an Awards Luncheon to give recognition to employees, teams, and venues that show outstanding service to their guests and other co-workers. Numerous industries nominate an employee to be recognized for their work but as few as four awards may be given that year, making the competition high!
Jonathan has been praised by close to every guest that has visited Potomac Point, and has been described as “attentive, personable, and always smiling” and always having a glass of wine ready for his guests! His coworkers have proclaimed him to “live, breathe, sleep, and eat” his job. He is always there to not only complete his job but to be involved in every aspect of the winery- from the tasting room, to events, to serving. His name has been specifically mentioned in many public reviews to explain what a great asset he is to each guests’ experience at Potomac Point. Congratulations on the recognition you deserve, Jonathan! We are grateful to have you here!
